people jumping surviving to thriving in the lunar eclipse in sagittarius

Surviving

On May 26, we have the first eclipse in a series with the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius. The second will follow on June 11 in its opposite sign, Gemini.  Eclipses come in pairs, one Lunar and one Solar, both with different energetic objectives for our lives, but both coming around like clockwork to help us course correct.

Eclipses Equal Change

Eclipses are a relatively normal phenomenon. We can have anywhere between one to three in a year—and 2021 gives us two sets.  So why the hype if these occurrences happen every year?  The answer is simple: eclipses equal inevitable, often drastic changes. As humans we have a hard time coping with change.

When the mind hears that change is upon us, it begins to anticipate and habitually goes into survival mode; a hardwire embedded in the strands of our DNA. When in survival mode, we can conjure fatalistic thoughts. Black or white thinking sets in, and this triggers the fight or flight mechanism.  Let’s not shame ourselves here. This is one of the jobs of the brain, to protect and prepare us.

Flipping the Switch During the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius

The Zodiac tells the story of our life cycles. When we transition from the sign Scorpio into Sagittarius, we transition from survival mode into thriving mode.  With that said, this eclipse in Sagittarius is offering us a chance to flip the switch. We just need to understand the mechanics of the flip and how to do it—How to flip from surviving to thriving.

At this time, we welcome the waves of expansive and opportunistic energy of the Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon!

Sagittarius at its highest vibrational output represents the possibility of EXPANSION in our lives. This sign brings blessings and optimism wherever he goes. I have an image of Oprah in my head (a Sagittarius Moon native) yelling at everyone in the crowd,

“And you get a car, and you get a car….everyone gets a car!”

This is an all-encompassing energy that comes from an expansive belief system. The energy of Sagittarius goes with the flow of life while having its arrow aimed towards a final destination. With their beliefs in tow, there may be a re-routing that takes place but what is meant for them will always be for them, or better.  Black or white doesn’t exist in the energy of Sag. They step out of fight of flight into a space of beliefs, overly optimistic or not, always getting their way.

Coming out of the sign of Scorpio, a purposeful, powerful primordial survivor and heading into the sign Sagittarius, seemingly magic-based, is much like flipping a switch, in that, it’s a choice of the mind.  Life is not black or white in most cases. It’s a lot of grey.  If we’re not fighting or fleeing from mountain lions as our ancestors once needing to do, then we have to look for the path down the middle in life’s experiences.

Onward as we flip the switch of our lives!

Thriving

The fatalism of Scorpio turns into the grandest possibilities that the Universe has up its sleeves.  As we become more conscious beings, we can learn to replace surviving with thriving—but first we must understand that this shift occurs through replacing our knee-jerk reactions with a deeper knowledge and belief.

This isn’t to say that once you flip the switch, the hardships don’t exist and that the autonomous nature of our instincts won’t kick in. It’s also not to say that eclipses won’t still bring change into our lives.  But it is to say that there is always something grander to believe in, a bigger picture that exists past the scarcities of nature.

4 Tips to Flip the Switch during this Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in Sagittarius:

1. Life isn’t only black or white, it exists mostly in the grey area.

Recognize when you begin to polarize a situation. This could involve going from loving to hating someone, painting someone as the bad guy, or only seeing two options in our situations.

2. What you believe in, you give your power to.

Do you believe that what is meant for you will always be for you, or that something even better is on its way? If not, explore why not? Where does this belief come from?

3. Big inhale in, and COMPLETELY exhale out.

This will activate the diaphragm, allow more blood flow to the heart, signal to the brain that we aren’t in danger, and slow down our fight or flight response. This allows more time to see our situation more clearly.

4. Ask yourself, “What would Oprah do?”

No, seriously. When we adopt the energy of Sag we are in an abundance mentality. Who has more abundance thinking than Oprah?

Abundance Is You: The New Moon in Taurus

A vision is stirred in the mind’s eye as the New Moon in Taurus approaches: There you are, you’re being fed grapes by your lover in a garden oasis. Your favorite song plays on repeat, seemingly reverberating from the clouds.  There are money trees shading the perfect seventy-five degree weather from the Sun shining above. You don’t need to be anywhere but right there. Far away places are of no interest, neither does the next moment.  Because you have everything you need right where you are, you are abundant.

The Taurean Archetype & Valuing the Material World

Taurus rules the material realm of our lives.  It rules our bodies, life’s simple pleasures, luxuries and creature comforts of the five senses.  One would say Taurus is a bit of a hedonist with its desires to indulge in the sensual experiences of life, but Taurus is onto something.  He knows that there is intrinsic value in the physical and being of the flesh suit, therefore he places priority and invests time into the here and now.

Ironically, as humans we have a tendency to devalue the needs of the body and the physicality of life.  Often, we push our bodies past their limits, bulldoze or even wish to transcend them altogether.  When we refuse to see the inherent value of the physical and the abundance that is always present for us, when we don’t take the time to invest into the physical, we cut off our material abundance.

5 No BS Rules to Creating Material Abundance for the New Moon in Taurus

As the New Moon in Taurus approaches this upcoming Tuesday, May 11, it’s only natural we take the no BS approach.  Synchronistically or not, Taurus also rules the animal the bull.  The most simple and straight forward of the signs; what you see is truly what you get.

So, how do we create material abundance?  Follow the rules below:

Rule #1 Know your worth!

You have inherent worthiness—no matter what.  Taurus knows this as fact, and because of this he is ruler of self-worth, being the sign that rules money.

Rule #2 Creating more material abundance is also inside job.

We often feel more worthy as humans if we have the external reality to reflect to us, I have money equals I have worth.  Sure it makes sense, it can help, but the more we feel abundant on the inside, the more we gain externally.

Rule #3  It’s OK to need and want more.

There is a running story of shame that sometimes comes with recognition of needs or wants of more material abundance.  This can include money, material things, or even being fed grapes by your lover!  Allowing this story to run in the background of our lives creates blocks.  Ask for what you need and want, and OWN IT!

Rule #4 More abundance means not settling for less.

Basically, we need to leave the table if we aren’t being fed!  More abundance means being honest to ourselves about where we aren’t being met halfway, and where we are giving out value and not receiving in return.

Rule #5 To gain more material abundance, you need invest in the material world.

Place the physical experience as a priority.  Treat your body like the temple it is.  Take a look at what your immediate environment is presenting you, and practically rearrange as needed.  Make investments.  Desire money, desire luxury, and admit it out loud!

Follow these rules as we approach the New Moon in Taurus.

Invest and find value in your physical reality and you’ll surely reap what you sow.  Happy New Moon, may it bless your way to material abundance, opulence and an inner knowing of your inherent worthiness in this physical manifestation!

We are Deserving of Transformation

Welcome to Taurus Season! Taurus is bringing us major sacred feminine Empress vibes. You can identify these moods in your life as simple creature comforts that provide pleasure for the five senses. These include: anything that brings harmony, rest for the physical body, comfort foods, time with Mother Nature, the inpso needed to transform our environments into a Garden of Eden, and material abundance and money, baby! Say it with us, “WE ARE DESERVING!”

Taurus rules the foundations of the Here and Now in our lives. These foundations that we build must be seeded into grounds of fertility. For us to harvest prosperity, we must dismantle the old structures built on deficiency in order to reap rewards the season has for us.

Full Moon in Scorpio Energy

It is time to prepare as the the ominous Full Moon in Scorpio takes place on Monday, April 26. The energy of this time will aid us in the rebuilding process. Scorpio is the opposite sign of Taurus, and offers us a necessary balance to this season of fruitful harmony.  Blooming and decaying come hand in hand; each is necessary for the other. While Taurus is fertility and life, Scorpio is transformation and death.

Scorpio and death are highly misunderstood in our society. In many cultures, death is seen as a beautiful transition, not an ending.  Our polarized view of death as permanent and powerful, reinforces the illusion of control and can be wrapped up in our personal attachments as well as triggering our deepest fears.

This is the lower octave of Scorpio; it manifests as control dynamics in relationships. Intense feelings like jealousy and envy, addictions, and taboo subjects and secrets. It is through the higher octave of Scorpio, which is transformation, that we can harness its mighty energy, by releasing our fears and control and transforming it into our power.

This is the essence of the Scorpio Full Moon. The Universe bestows us with abundance. This flourishing can only occur when the transformation takes place beneath the surface.  Let’s dive deep during this cleansing Full Moon cycle.

Releasing Fear and Transforming It Into Power

In order to release the fears that are entwined with the lower octaves that can come up during this Full Moon in Scorpio, we must be willing to acknowledge them. And to let them go. Don’t worry, we won’t travel into the underworld without a light!

Supplies

  • 1 white candle
  • 2 pieces of paper and a pen
  • 1 lighter, matches or a flame
  • A willingness to be honest with self

The Full Moon Ritual

  • Step 1: Dim the lights in your space, or turn them off altogether.  This serves a reminder to go into the dark spaces.
  • Step 2: Light the white candle, which represents the purity of our dark truths, that ultimately light the way.
  • Step 3: Write a list of everything you wish to release and relinquish. This includes: fears, control dynamics, characteristics of the shadow self, whatever arises when you start writing.
  • Step 3: Reread this list, and then bring it outside under the rays of the Full Moon.  In a safe environment, burn the list as an act of release.
  • Step 4: Now, make a list of everything that inspires your positive personal power.
  • Step 5: Incorporate these qualities into your practice by reading them daily until the Moon moves out of Scorpio on May 28. This will release your fear and allow you to embody the transformation to embody these positive attributes and qualities.

New Moon in Aries: The Astrological New Year

Happy Astrological New Year, yogis! The Astrology community marks the start of the year in tandem with the seasons. And now Spring has sprung, so this is the beginning of all beginnings. We’re wrapping up the past year that was spent in the process of transforming the parts our lives that were deadening to our spirits. Sometimes that transformation might have happened against our will at first, but hopefully, in retrospect, we can see the places where some things may have served our greater good. Now, as we launch into the first New Moon of the New Year, Aries has something to teach us about what it means to be spirited beings.

The Spirited Aries Nature

Aries are the most enthusiastic of the Zodiac signs; they give new meaning to the word spirited. They are the fire sign that represents the initial spark and entrance of Spirit into the body. Aries beings are excited by life! They represent the ages one through seven, a time period during which we interacted with life as if everything was a first experience.  You can recognize this in the Aries nature.

Act, Align, Accelerate

You begin to recognize this in yourself by paying attention to the instinct and motivation that rise within you and allow you to assert your will and to GO!! (Also an Aries thing). This is what makes us want to ACT, ALIGN, and ACCELERATE toward what makes us feel connected, excited, and spirited.  When we connect to what makes us feel spirited…we begin to walk hand in hand with Source, and truly co-create the lives we desire.

As humans we often forget that we are the individual streams and rivers connected to an almighty and large oceanic Source.  You can call it God, call it Universe, call it the Divine, call it what you will, but it runs through us all at every moment of the day.  With that being said, we are co-creators. We may “know” what we want and desire, but Source knows what’s possible and purposeful per our paths, and the collective.

While we hear that New Moons are potent periods to set intentions and create goals (and they are), we don’t always possess the full scope of what Source can see.  This is where the choice of being a spiritual creature comes into play. Because it is when we are connected to Spirit that the mind and the ego can be silenced. When we are connected to what makes us spirited, Source runs through us, and we are guided to what is sacred to our highest being.

Connect to Spirit During the New Moon in Aries

  1. Ask for guidance, assistance or signs from Spirit, Universe, your angels, wherever your connection exists – let them speak to you.
  2. Pray – surrender the confusing portions of your life.
  3. Meditate – if you already have a practice, meditate more, this will clear your vessel so you can be a conduit to Spirit.
  4. Make a list of what lights you up- the things that ignite you show the direction to go toward.
  5. Make a list of what makes you contract – know what extinguishes the flame to build awareness.
  6. Record yourself – speak out the uncertainties, the mind has a tendency to muddy our connection with Spirit.
  7. Listen to music that makes you feel expansive.
  8. Educate yourself on the Sacral Chakra – Aries rules the Sacral Chakra.
  9. Trust your gut feelings and hunches.
  10. Allow yourself to make mistakes while learning to navigate your way to Spirit.

Full Moon in Libra: Self-Actualizing in Relationships

The Full Moon in Libra takes place March 28. It is beginning to whisper sweet nothings into our ears of all the things we long for that the sign Libra brings into our lives. These things include: partnerships, relational love, balance, harmony, and beauty.

This Moon is very other focused. Libra represents relationships in astrology, but unlike Full Moons in Libra of the past, this one has a hefty dose of self-focus included into the mix.  With the pile-up of three planets sitting in opposite sign Aries, the sign of the individual self, this Moon says it takes two to tango in the dance of love.

Deep feelings will be illuminated around our own self-actualization in the face of our closest relationships and partnerships.  Do we feel like we have the freedom to be ourselves in them?  What insecurities or wounding comes up in the face of another that hold us back from being our most authentic selves?

Libra is sitting us down at the table of relations. She wants mutuality here and she wants us to bring our entirety.  Choosing to sit at this table forces us to look straight into the eyes of another with all that we are— insecurities, wounds, pain and all, to cultivate deeper bonds, and manifest the type of love we desire.

Pull up a chair, take a seat at the table and let us examine our authenticity in relation to the people in our lives, and relationships yet to manifest.

full moon in libra journaling

Full Moon in Libra Journaling

The Table

Imagine that you’re sitting at a table. There are two chairs at this table: One for you and one for other. (Those you are in relationships and partnerships with).

To sit that this table there must be a natural reciprocity present. To bring themselves to the table, everyone must bring their self— their whole self.  This includes the insecurities, wounds, and parts of ourselves we feel uncomfortable sharing.

During this exercise you will imaginatively place the different people in your life across from you at the table.  Explore anyone in your life while answering these questions in journal form. The more we examine these parts of ourselves, the more our relationships can deepen, and the faster we can attract the partnerships we desire into our lives.

* Bonus points if put yourself at the end of the table and ask these questions in relation to yourself.

Reflection Questions

  • _______________________ (insert name of person you’re in relation to) is sitting across from me at the table.
  • What do I hold back from feeling and emoting around them?  Why?
  • What do I hold back in my expression of self around them?  Why?
  • Is it just this person that I hold back these parts of myself with?  Do I withhold these from myself? Why?
  • Do I feel like there is room to make mistakes without serious consequences?  Why?
  • How can I bring these isolated parts of myself to the table so I can feel more self-actualized in my relationship?

Making a Playlist to Connect with Feeling Magic

The Pisces season is ruled by the water element. In astrology, the water element represents feelings, moods, intuition, and emotions. These ebbs and flows are well known to stir the emotional body so this season can be uncomfortable for the many of us who are resistant to diving into the waters. But this can also be a time of magic and manifestation.  Pisces is one of the most powerful manifestors of the Zodiac. And that is because of these things we like to call feelings.

I want you to imagine a magical ocean in your mind. These oceanic waters are representative of the best feelings a human can access, such as joy, bliss and elation; it’s pure Source energy.  Now, I want you to imagine that as individuals we are each a part of this ocean. We are the separate rivers, streams, ponds, and lakes.  Our branches of water stem off of Source and because of this the abundant flow is inalienable to us, because it is us.

ocean waves showcasing feeling magic

While this inseparable and never-ending current between Source and us continues to run, it’s our job to maintain the waters as to not become muddied and clogged. In the flow we are able to facilitate our wildest and most magical dreams. At times we may feel out of control and at whim to the deep, mysterious undertows. This can cause us to resist the very flow of our bountiful expansion.

You see, while the waters can get rough in certain areas, we must know that if we dam any part of the flow, we impede on our Source, the current that manifests the moments, experiences, and people and things we desire.  Utilizing our feelings and emotions with a conscious mind, instead of letting them rule us, can create the most powerful cataclysm of momentum for manifesting.

This New Moon in Pisces on March 13 possesses an omnipotent energy available for us to tap into.  The New Moon is already a potent lunar phase supporting our ability to set intentions, plant seeds to watch grow, and for new beginnings. Yet this one in particular is giving us hydro-speed waters in order to accelerate our manifesting.  But we must catch the wave! The way we do this is by harnessing the powers of our feelings.

So, it’s time for some feeling magic. We’re going to make a playlist that we can use to tune into on the daily to tap into your own feeling magic. Have you ever played your favorite song on repeat? You do this because you want to recreate the way it makes you FEEL over and over again. As we’ve already discussed, the abundant feeling we allow ourselves to tap into ushers the flow of magic into our lives. Let’s get to it!

Making A Playlist For Feeling Magic & Manifestation

This playlist is to get you out of the heady cerebral space and into the intuitive and emotional body. After you’ve made your playlist it’s important to listen to it everyday until the Full Moon in Libra on March 28. The more you can tune into the uplifting playlist you’re about to create, the better you can harness and direct your feelings into the abundant flow, and therefore usher in all the magic you hope to create this lunar cycle.

Playlist Process…Making Magic

  1. Create the playlist using a music platform of your choice.
Name the playlist. It could be something like “Feeling Magic,” “Manifestation Playlist,” “New Moon Magic.” Make sure it’s something that inspires you, just like the songs you’ll add to it.
  2. Begin selecting songs. Be intentional. The purpose is to select songs that aid you in experiencing feelings like abundance, love ,and freedom.  Ask yourself some of the following questions. “What do I want to feel on a daily basis?” Or “What songs make me feel limitless?” Then choose songs according to these feelings.
  3. Make the playlist as intentional as possible. Choose the number of songs that feels right to you and choose the order in which you’ll listen to them. Which song would be a great opener? Which song would be a good finale?
  4. Listen to your playlist. Listen to it on the night of the New Moon, while doing a ritual, lighting your candles, charging your crystals, setting your intentions, et cetera.  Fully embody the music, allowing your feelings and emotions to be guided. If you feel called to dance during the process, this will usher even more momentum.
  5. After the New Moon, make it a point to listen to your playlist every day.  Remember, the FEELINGS the music produces inside your body are the most important part of this process. Don’t be afraid to let the rhythms take a hold of you!
  6. Lastly, be patient, be present, and believe in your abundance and the power of feeling magic.  Wait for the manifestations to flow in from all your hard work!

Blessed New Moon, yogis!

The Full Moon in Virgo: Illuminating Purification

We’re going to tap into the energies of this Full Moon in Virgo by exploring two common Virgo archetypal habits: self-criticism and ritual work. Self-criticism is a defeating cycle the energy of Virgo can create within us while ritual work is a powerful and positive tool that is an instinctive part of the Virgo nature that we can use for purification. The energy of Virgo is not exclusive to those of us born during that season. Everyone has these energetic strands in their astro-DNA and the Full Moon is illuminating these parts of our lives.

We can learn a thing or two from Virgos during this Moon cycle. They’re good with details and recognizing imperfections so this makes Virgos masters at organizing, as well as naturals in the area of self-improvement. When it comes to self-improvement, this is true in regards to physical body health since Virgo is an Earth sign. An interesting fact about Virgo is it rules our digestive system, which includes how the body filters what is nourishment and what is waste—what the body needs and what doesn’t belong.

Virgo’s planetary ruler is Mercury. Mercury is the planet that governs how the mind processes information, so this energy shapes the Virgoan filtration system. This is both a blessing and a curse: When the apt critical eye used for a clear and purifying gaze at the world is turned in as a sharp sword against the self. The energy can be intensely scrutinizing, and this habit of self-criticism can be destructive.

Directing the Energy of Virgo through Ritual

How everyone appreciates Virgo:  “Virgo, you’re so smart, helpful and good-looking,”

When Virgo looks in the mirror: *inserts deflective self-depreciating comment*

The habit of being overly self-critical, which is he lower octave of the Virgoan archetype, is engrained in all of our lives to some extent. But that doesn’t make it good for us! This Virgo Full Moon is calling for us to eliminate this toxic tendency. The process of separating the wheat from the chaff is important; it brings a purity to our mundane reality (Virgo Full Moon) that creates room for magic. We must do this by embracing the higher octave of Virgo and this is where habit of ritual work comes in.

So, let’s get to it friends!! It’s time for a little ritual magic. We’re going to begin a month-long ritual in our daily routines by engaging in mirror work. If you have never done this before or need a refresher, we’ve listed some exercises below.

Full Moon in Virgo Ritual Mirror Work

Building a ritual of mirror work with phrases and affirmations might seem insignificant at first, but it is through these words that you build compassion, acceptance and embodiment for yourself. Take five minutes of your time to do step three every day.

Exercise 1: Mirror Work – Acknowledgment/ Honesty of Negative Self-Talk

Choosing to face ourselves honestly by doing mirror work can bring up feelings, thoughts, and emotions that may be uncomfortable. But it’s important that we become fully aware of the scope of negative self-talk or critical thoughts that are present within us. Be brave yogis! You only need to do this once.

  • If needed, play a song to support the emotional body.
  • Stare at a mirror for three to five minutes with the intention of holding space for your interpersonal relationship with your self. Look yourself in the eyes, scan your facial features, your facial expression, and your posture. Become aware of the inner dialogue running in your mind as you are witnessing self.
  • Begin to speak aloud what is coming to your mind, as if you were telling someone what you are sensing, seeing, and feeling.
  • Speak as honestly to yourself as possible. The harshness that could come up could surprise you. It could sound something like the following dialogue. “I don’t like what I’m looking at. I don’t feel confident. This is uncomfortable. I hate my hair. The eyes under my eyes bug me.”

Exercise 2: Journaling – Cultivating Compassion

  • Take some time to journal a list of four compassionate, kind, and loving phrases or affirmations.
  • To make this easier, you can imagine what you would tell a friend to uplift them after hearing their self-criticism, or what you would like to hear when you’re down and need encouragement in light of the awareness created in exercise 1.
  • Examples: “I love you no matter how you are feeling, no matter what mood you’re in. You deserve to create happiness in your life. I am worthy, even when I don’t feel beautiful.”

Step 3: Ritual Mirror Work – Affirmations/ Phrases, Compassionate Self-Talk

  • Before beginning your compassionate self-talk, be present to any feelings that come up and try to cultivate a compassionate space for them, like you would a loved one.
  • Have the affirmations and phrases handy, and with intention, begin repeating each of them three times in a row while holding your gaze in the mirror.

How to Explore the Illumination of January’s Full Moon in Leo

Full Moons are time periods that are characterized by an increased emotional intensity. These are also times of endings and culminations of cycles. And they are illuminations as the Sun shines brightly onto the subconscious of the Moon.  January’s Full Moon in Leo will highlight some integral feels we must allow ourselves to feel. Our inner child has a personal message for us and it’s our job to listen.

As I look at the transits of the Full Moon in Leo (January 28, 2021), I can envision two small children playing against the backdrop of a war-torn country. Rubble and rocks from buildings that are knocked off their foundations become race cars in their minds as they zoom around an imaginary racetrack. Although this image could be saddening, from a different perspective, it’s an ode to the courage that comes with honoring our personal joys as a child would, or as a Leo would do.

The Courage to Choose Joy

It is a courageous sentiment to choose joy and to cultivate it for ourselves despite the outside circumstances that can act in direct opposition to that joy. For a child who is not jaded, the instinct to choose joy is natural. It is a human right. Once upon a time, you had this same sacred flame within you, before the harsh realities of the world kidnapped you.

Recognizing joy and tuning into the lessons of our inner child may seem to be challenging pursuits to follow in our current climate. But this is a time for us to connect to the image of the children I saw of finding joy amongst hardships.  Those children are you, they’re me, they’re us, and they are pleading, “But what about love, what about joy, what about play and what about fun!?

There is something to be said about the magic in these Leo themes, the childlike essence that honors the absolute need of heartfelt anything.

The strangest gift is being offered to us during these revolutionary times. The Moon is illuminating the needs of our inner children. It is our duty to be the crusader of these needs.

We may ask if we still must do this, “Under the conditions of the world!?

YES! Is the answer.

Under any condition.

Although, during this Leo Full Moon, we may come to learn the lessons of yearning, old wounding patterns, and endings, we can also allow our internal flame to be lit. We can receive the magic found when we open our eyes to the incredible importance of fueling this flame and flighting for its life.

A Journal Prompt/Visualization for the Full Moon in Leo

Find a quiet space, break out your journal, and take a moment to visualize and interact with your inner child.

Connect to a memory of your inner child during which they’re NOT living in their child-like essence. (This might be never for some of us, and it’s important to acknowledge that.)  If there isn’t a moment you can remember then it’s time to start this process and tap into your imagination.

Allow yourself to become aware that you in the present moment is a separate entity of this child. Become the observer. Tune into what are they doing and even what are they wearing. Feel into some of the following questions. Are they happy? Are they sad? What are they feeling? Is there anyone around them?

Take this moment to be present with this child, offer them understanding and compassion.

Journal around the answers to the following questions.

  1. How are they feeling? (Do they feel sad, lonely, angry?)
  2. What does it seem like they need based on this feeling? (Connection, attention, the ability to feel joy and be a child, the ability express themselves?)
  3. What do you think is preventing them from receiving what they need? (Generational patterning, lack of security, lack of connection, feelings of being misunderstood?)
  4. Do these same feelings mirror what I experience currently while looking to meet the need of joy in my life?  If so, how?
  5. Interaction point: If this child were sitting in front of you right now, how could you help meet their needs of personal joy and child-like essence? (Do they need to be held, do they need attention, do they need a friend, a mother or father?)

This Full Moon offers us an opportunity for transformation by bringing our attention to this child. Ask them what they need. Honor the innate Leo regality of the heart and the child. Reflect and then carry the lessons learned forward as we find joy, no matter the circumstances, and then hopscotch into the rest of 2021.
